It's almost that time of year again, when our talented final year students take over the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts Centre for three whole days as part of the annual Waikato Engineering Design Show.

This world-class Engineering Design Show is the flagship event of the School of Engineering and the high-point of our degree programmes. It provides an opportunity to see firsthand how our students excel in designing, building and testing new products, structures and solutions for the real world. Students also compete within the event for industry-sponsored prizes. Every year the bar is raised and we're super excited to see the innovation that is unleashed in this very special 2020 event - it has certainly presented some unique challenges for our staff and students!

The event is open to the public and a great opportunity to see some cutting-edge tech in action and meet some of our up and coming engineering talent doing what they do best - creating and innovating to solve real-world problems.
