130 years of History.

The Waikato A&P Show is one of the oldest events in New Zealand – established in 1892.

The heart of the Show centres around the shared passion and spirit of all things rural. It’s a celebration of traditional competitions, rural lifestyle and bringing communities together.

The Show has been held on Claudelands Showgrounds for over 100 years and each year it has seen thousands of people through the gates. Thanks to the Waikato A&P Association, the Show has been able to continue year after year, evolving with the times.

On top of traditional animal competitions, the show features entertainment, trade exhibits and expos – creating a fantastic and unique day out for the whole family.
