Hamilton’s biggest night out is The ZURU Nightglow, and this year we are thrilled to be back at Claudelands Oval on Saturday, 22 March 2025.

Get ready for hours of live entertainment on the One NZ stage, carnival rides and games, delicious food trucks and vendors and the highlight of the night – the glorious orchestrated hot air balloon glow, that will light up the night sky… culminating in the SkyCity Hamilton Fireworks extravaganza.  

Balloons Over Waikato have worked hard with ticketing partner, Ticketek, to implement a ballot-based system for the ZURU Nightglow. 

Simply submit your application anytime before 5pm, Monday 24 February at balloonsoverwaikato.co.nz/

Tickets will remain FREE for all attendees and anyone aged 15 years or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Infants under the age of 12 months do not require a ticket.
