Set during a tangi (Maaori funeral), Tangihanga brings over 30 characters to life, exploring themes of whaanau, cultural identity, and resilience as Jess navigates the complexities of family dynamics and grief after her father’s passing.
Winner of the Outstanding Performer Award and finalist for the Fringe Feels Award at the Whangarei Fringe Festival, Tangihanga is a powerful solo show written, directed, and performed by Kristyl Neho, with co-director Eunice August-Smith.
