Ready, Set, Slay!  Dance this Halloween away.  

Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum and Gallery will transform into a spooky dance floor filled with music, lights, colourful characters and plenty of Halloween fun for kids 8+ and their whaanau!  

Choose your sound 

Grab a pair of wireless headphones and pick your vibe. Switch between three different music channels and choose the songs and artists that keep you moving. Different faves to your mates? No worries, everyone can have a good time while sharing the same dance floor.  

Come dressed as your favourite spooky, silly, creative, or creepy character and enjoy an afternoon packed with music, movement, and fun inside one of Hamilton's most iconic cultural spaces. It will be over by trick or treating time if you've still got some energy to burn! 

The Spooky Silent Disco offers a welcoming and supervised environment where young people can celebrate Halloween in a fun and age-appropriate way. The event finishes in plenty of time for families to continue their Halloween celebrations and head out trick-or-treating afterwards.
