Relay For Life is a community fundraising event that brings together friends, whaanau, schools, and workplaces to:

• Celebrate – Whakanui those affected by cancer and the people who care for them

• Remember – Maumaharatia loved ones lost to cancer

• Fight Back – Tū atu by raising awareness and funds to support Cancer Society services

Everyone is welcome at Relay For Life.

What happens at Relay For Life?

Teams take to the track and keep their baton moving, symbolising our community’s ongoing and united fight against cancer. Throughout the day and evening, participants are cheered on by supporters as they walk or run at their own pace.

To keep the energy high, the event will feature live performances, fun activities, great music, and plenty of food — making it a meaningful and memorable day for all ages.
