HIKO! - a name that sparks excitement!

Derived from Te Reo Maaori meaning electric shock/lightning/flash, it perfectly embodies our vibrant theatre festival! HIKO! will be running from 4 - 16 November, showcasing innovative works by Kirikiriroa creators, where fresh ideas collide and creativity ignites.

Four electric new local works will be front and centre, presenting a variety of experimental works, from full productions to staged readings, giving you a look into the creative development of cutting-edge plays. Each piece offers a fresh perspective and provides new stories. Be careful, don’t get shocked by the following electrifying works:

·                     Don’t Mention It by Nathan Higgins

·                     Bottle Episode by Rye Inglis

·                     Daylight Savings by Melanie Allison

·                     Soliloquy by James Smith

This is the perfect curated selection for theatre fanatics, creatives and those looking for modern storytelling that has you on the edge of your seat! Don’t miss the chance to experience the electrifying new Kirikiriroa voices!

There are a range of ticket options to choose from!
