Trees At The Meteor

The Hamilton iconic Christmas thing-to-do that you actually feel like doing is back!

Trees at the Meteor is back for it’s tenth year of Christmas jingle in ya jandals down south end of Victoria st.

The creatives of Hamilton are busy with glue guns and wire and wood pallets and glitter and madness making their statements in schemes and dreams –  in a tree shape –  about what Christmas means to them. And they decorate or make a tree to share it with the city.  For all those art savvy festive starved Hamiltonians looking for an alternative to the malls and Santa and winter in a hemisphere we do not belong!

Trees at the Meteor is a concept that’s proven itself year after year that makes young kids crack a smile and more jaded citizens feel christmasy again.

So what is it exactly? Trees at the Meteor is exhibitionism on a grand scale of 'Christmas trees', but not your average lame ones.

The Meteor Theatre on Victoria Street is home to 60 plus NOT BORING trees that are a feast to the eyes. It's the wearable arts of the Christmas tree circuit. Pine tingling treats in every space ready to dazzle you. Every year the creatives of Hamilton get their glitter and glue guns on and make something special for the city to meander through. It's a super festive forest of what Christmas means to HAMILTON. And it's unique to our fair city!

Epic for anyone - it's a whole family thing!
